| A native of Winston-Salem and the wife of former Broadway Mayor Henry J. Green, Lynne West Green worked more than 30 years in the secretarial and administrative profession before retiring from Coty after 20 years of service and joining her husband as proprietors of the RoadRunner Cafe in Broadway.
Though she was elected to her first public office in November 2007, Green has always been active in her community and church, even while raising a family of six children (four are still living) and seven grandchildren. In addition to fulfilling her family, business and town responsibilities, Green continues to spend time serving others through various ministries of Holly Springs Baptist Church.
