| A seven-decade resident of Lee County, Ed Paschal has served on the Lee County Board of Commissioners since his first election in 1990, and is involved in setting policy for county personnel and the parks and recreation program.
He has served in the U.S. Army and is now a member of Carbonton United Methodist Church and the local Lions Club. Other interests include antique machinery and pottery, and the commissioner has donated more than 12 gallons of blood to help those facing surgery or a medical crisis.
Paschal resides in the West Pocket community with his wife, Betty. The couple has three sons: Randy, Michael and John.
